Introduction

About this Recipe

In the past year, I have fallen absolutely in love with salmon. It is beautiful, delicious and not to mention, so nutritious. However, I’m not always in the mood to take hours to prepare and cook this fatty pink fish. This Quick and Delicious Air Fryer Salmon recipe is so simple and completely fool-proof. Your salmon will come out perfectly flakey and juicy every time.

Ingredients

  • 4 Salmon Fillets, I used BBQ cut from Trader Joes
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • seasonings of choice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Our Tips:

  • Instead of olive oil, try brushing on melted butter.
  • Reminder: the thicker the cut of fillet, the longer your salmon fillet will take to cook.
  • Squeeze a little lemon juice on your fillet or add a slices on top before cooking.

Step by Step Instructions

 Step 1

First, preheat your Air Fryer at 350 degrees.

Step 2

Next, lightly coat your salmon fillets with olive oil.

Step 3

Then, add your seasonings of choice. Gently pat and press seasonings onto your salmon fillets until they are covered on all sides.

For mine, I used: garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, dill weed, Cajun seasoning, salt and pepper.

Step 4

Place salmon fillets in Air Fryer, skin side down, and cook for five minutes at 350 degrees.

After five minutes, increase the temperature to 400 degrees and cook for another 5 minute or until salmon is cooked to your liking.

I personally like mine more on the “rare” side where it is just starting to flake. So, for instance, I only cooked mine for about eight minutes this time.

Step 5

That’s it. Quick and Delicious Air Fryer Salmon.

Enjoy!
